“A city is not gauged by its length and width, but the broadness of its vision and the height of its dreams” – Herb Caen.
Municipalities are centers of innovative ideas and practices that can lead to a fair, clean and democratic energy future.
The mPOWER project offers to support and connect cities and towns through its city-to-city learning programme in which strategic solutions and local successes are shared and replicated.
mPOWER is currently seeking to identify, disseminate and cross-pollinate best practices; shape the peer learning tailored to cities’ needs; and strategise about energy governance, policy and technologies across the European municipal energy sector. For that purpose, they have launched a survey on how municipalities are managing the energy transition.
If you are interested in the mPOWER peer-learning programme or simply proud of your city’s energy transition work, please complete the survey (15-20 min): English (en).
Municipalities that take part in this survey will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of peer-learning activities. They may be invited to the face-to-face learning stream, including field visits and training seminars, or to participate in one of the online courses that lead up regional learning events.
